Welcome
Newman Water Polo Players Association Inc. (NWPPA) was established by parents within the Newman School Community in 2008 with a strong drive and commitment to bring water polo to all students ...not only at Newman College and it’s six feeder schools, but to the wider community.
Water Polo is an exciting team sport where you can keep fit in the pool and have fun at the same time with your group of friends. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary, but a minimum level 7 swim certificate is required as water polo is based around strong swimming ability.
Newman Water Polo Players coordinates, trains and develops teams which are registered and play in either the Flipper Ball or District Schools Competition run by City Beach Water Polo Club at Challenge Stadium on Saturday mornings over summer.
The competition is divided into an introductory Flipper Ball (Yrs 4-5) and a District Schools Competition (Yrs 6-7).
Download our current brochure for full details and follow the links below to the City Beach WPC site for further information and Saturday morning Fixtures and Premiership ladder in season.
We look forward to welcoming all new players this season and are preparing for another successful season in the pool for Newman Water Polo.
